The Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) has released its new Fan Attendance Report. The report is an overview of the attendance figures for all the domestic leagues in the EPFL from 2010/11 to 2016/17 and has information on stadium capacities across Europe.
The headline figures are that “more than 120 Million people fill European Leagues’ stadiums every year” and that the Bundesliga leads in attendance while the English Premier League comes out on top for stadium occupancy. Second tier leagues also show positive growth in attendance.
