Netflix won’t be entering live sports market

Netflix has ruled out the possibility of it entering the live sports streaming market.

Speaking at the International Broadcasting Convention 2018, Maria Ferreras, Netflix’s VP business development for EMEA, delved into the company’s plans for the for the future.

Netflix’s rivals in the streaming video market such as Facebook and Amazon have been purchasing broadcasting rights to various sports around the world.
